Anthony Wilson RIP

Anthony Wilson, who managed notorious Manchester-area bands such as New Order, Joy Division and Happy Mondays, passed away at the age of 57. The Manchester Evening News also reported that Wilson, who also co-founded Factory Records and the reputable Hacienda nightclub, succumbed to a heart attack.

Wilson was at the center of the 80s pop music revolution in Manchester, at the time dubbed Madchester.
