Kurt Cobain: On The Silver Screen

The actor set to play Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a movie about the man?s struggles in life has been chosen, at least according to some sources. James McAvoy is the usual suspect in the biopic, which Courtney Love will executive-produce, and reports about the film have emerged earlier this month after Universal Pictures apparently secured the rights.

The movie will be based upon Charles Cross’s novel, Heavier Than Heaven, which was based on hundreds of interviews with the dead rock musician, his friends and his family.
