There were driving-related deaths, as one teenager was killed in the car driven by her elder sister, and another man was killed instantly as a Ford pickup truck knocked into him as he was leaving an Ozzfest venue.

2 more were announced dead at the same venue to do drugs and alcohol related incidents. The two men, Patrick Norris aged 24, and Raymond Guarino aged 26, passed out during the show.
