Led Zep: 2008 Tour Confirmed?
November 23, 2007 by Jo Minor · Leave a Comment
Legendary rock act Led Zeppelin might have just signed a deal to tour in 2008. According to Ian Astbury, lead singer of The Cult: “We’ll be back next year, because we’re opening for a band you may have heard of. The name starts with an ‘L’ and has a ‘Z’ in it.”
People should realise that it could well mean ‘Limp Bizkit’ instead of ‘Led Zeppelin’. Duh!
Led Zeppelin: Alive Again?
November 12, 2007 by Jo Minor · Leave a Comment
The remaining members of Led Zeppelin - guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant and bassist John Paul Jones, are discussing plans to reform and tour together as soon as in 2008. If this becomes a reality, it would be the first time the band has played live together in almost 30 years.
?
The news comes as the rock legends confirm news of their ?Mothership? compilation, which will contain 24 tracks specially chosen by the band.
?
The band has last toured in July 1980, just months before the tragic death of drummer John Bonham.
?
?Mothership? is due for release on the 13th of November.

Exclusive iTunes Led Zeppelin Box Set
October 25, 2007 by Jo Minor · 2 Comments
Apple Inc. has announced the availability of The Complete Led Zeppelin which is now ready for pre-order exclusively via the iTunes Store.
?
The collection is basically the entire catalogue of the band, and will also be available for individual purchase and download beginning November 13.
?
iTunes Store customers who order either collection will automatically be entered to win a chance to see the band?s reunion performance at London’s O2 Arena on November 26.
?
We suspect that this unnecessary release is to milk more money out of the reunion gig hype, as the collection is nothing new.
